Food & Beverage Service
You are responsible for promoting additional sales by taking opportunities to up-sell, in manner that is professional and courteous. Is familiar with all equipment relating to the Restaurant. Makes clear orders to kitchen production and bar regarding beverages, registers orders to hotel procedures. Confers with the Restaurant Supervisor concerning set-ups and last minute changes. Is fully conversant with the Restaurant POS (point of sale) system. Is able to operate credit card machines and other key equipment. Responsible for cleanliness of items/equipment in your work area.
Ensures that all discrepancies in cash are reported to Manager/Supervisor. Supports a safe working environment by applying Hotel’s regulations and adhering to existing laws & regulations. Undertake any other ad-hoc duties relevant to the post as and when required.

House Keeping
Your are responsible for the cleanliness of bedrooms as well as public areas within the hotel in line with the current 4* service standards and company procedures. Carry out the domestic work required, including but not limited to, changing of bed linen, replenishing the bathroom and general cleaning of the rooms. Responsible for room inspections; check the general condition of the room and notify the Housekeeping Manager of any malfunction or damage. Responsible for the linen and equipment supplied for his or her use.
To prepare bedrooms in the minimum length of time whilst respecting internal hotel procedures. Check the housekeeping cart to ensure all appropriate supplies are available and stock is replenished at the end of every shift.To provide a high standard of hospitality, cleaning and laundry by maintaining an efficient, cost effective, clean, hygienic environment.

Front of House - Reception
Your are responsible for accurate and efficient accounts and guest billing. Assist in keeping hotel reception area clean at all times. Undertake general office duties, including correspondence, emails and switchboard, etc. Administer all routes of reservations (e.g. online, phone) to ensure that room bookings are made and recorded accurately.
Ensure that all reservations and cancellations are processed efficiently. Keep up to date with room prices/special offers to provide accurate information to guests. Report any maintenance/breakage/cleanliness problems to the Operations Manager.
Administer the general petty cash system and float in an accurate manner. Undertake all training as required (e.g., First Aid, Health & Safety). Adhere to all Fire Safety procedures and assist in the evacuation process in the event of fire. Undertake ad-hoc duties relevant to the post when required.

Professional Cookery
You are responsible for maintaining a safe, hygienic and secure working environment while working effectively with the rest of the team. Maintaining food safety when storing, preparing and cooking food in the kitchen as well as learning how to handle and clean knives. This Apprenticeship will develop your cookery skills in a number of areas including; preparing fish, meat, poultry and vegetable dishes, making basic stock, preparing and mixing herbs and spices, ordering stock, setting up and closing a kitchen, handling knives, food safety and many others.
Able to liaise with your team to ensure that an individuals nutritional needs are met along with food preparation for a both domestic and commercial kitchen and ensure that all stock is ordered in correctly with the right paperwork filled out

This is the perfect starting point if you like to work with food. it is designed to teach you about all aspects of food preparation. You are responsible for preparing hot and cold sandwiches and desserts, taking dietary requirements into consideration. Also setting up and closing down the entire kitchen, along with operating specialist food preparation equipment and knowing how to clean is thoroughly. Work effectively as part of a hospitality team.

Horticulture
This Apprenticeship includes Amenity and Production Horticulture. Amenity Horticulture includes landscaping, which covers the planning, creation and maintenance of designed landscapes, both urban and rural. Along with sports turf, golf courses, parks and planning of domestic gardens. Production Horticulture deals with a large-scale production of plants for food and ornamental purposes. This includes fruit, vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, plants, flowers and trees for sale. You will also learn how to clear sites for planting or how to maintain equipment.Qualifications you gain:
