National Apprenticeship Week: New Staff Appointments
It's National Apprenticeship Week and Miskin Manor Health Club is proud to announce two new additions to the staff.
George Bateson and Tom Shortridge join the ranks at the Health Club as Kitchen Assistants. Both George and Tom will play integral roles in the extended menu offering the health club has developed since the start of the year.
Russell Edwards, Manager at Miskin Manor Health Club, said: ‘‘This is a huge step forward for us. We have been working on expanding the range of food for some time, and now with George and Tom on board, we can offer our members and guests a truly attractive and health conscious menu."
New recruit George, 20, said: ‘‘I'm incredibly excited to have joined Miskin Manor Health Club. I’m originally from Essex and have recently relocated to South Wales; so it’s great to have made so many new friends whilst getting my teeth stuck in to the new role.’’
Tom, 17, added: ‘‘Being a local boy, it is a great feeling to have an opportunity to develop my skills whilst earning a living. I'm learning a huge amount and being given extra responsibilities for food ordering and menu design. This enables me to get a well-rounded feel for the role, the business and the customers.’’
Both George and Tom join via the Miskin Manor Academy and will be on hand to speak to all members and guests about the new menus on offer.
