We have a selection of smaller private function rooms which are perfect for more intimate functions and events. All of our function rooms at Miskin Manor benefit from the warmth and personality of our historic building and its gorgeous interiors.

The Oak Room is a stunning, intimate function room. Cardiff based Miskin Manor offers a number of intimate, smaller function rooms and each one is different. The Oak Room is sumptuously wood-panelled and affords stunning views over our beds of spring-time roses. The Oak Room also includes an ante room which will give your function a little something extra. The room will accommodate a party of 14.

The Cedar Room is also known as the military room as it boasts an impressive collection of Welsh guard & regiment memorabilia. The vast, regal stone fire place is a stunning focal point in this room and there is seating for 20 people.

The Garden Room is another one of Miskin Manor's stunning smaller function rooms. Miskin Manor has many functions rooms which overlook their award-winning grounds and the garden room offers exceptional views through its vast, picture windows. The Garden Room is popular for afternoon teas and will seat up to 30 people.

We offer a number of other smaller function rooms at Miskin Manor, including the Maple, Willow, and Chestnut function rooms. Cardiff and Swansea are only a stone's throw from our glamorous, historic property and the hotel is ideally situated just off Junction 34 of the M4.

Unlike other Cardiff function rooms, Miskin Manor's function rooms combine beauty, personality, warmth and unique interiors to create a very special atmosphere. The Minstrel Hall is a stunning function room which can accommodate 100+ guests. It is perhaps the most beautiful and unique function room Cardiff can offer, with its high ceilings and gallery for string quartets or choirs. The hall includes an adjoining room and bar for your guests to enjoy.

The Glyndwr Room is directly adjacent to our beautiful Minstrel Hall. The Glyndwr can accommodate up to 90 and is usually booked alongside the Minstrel Hall to host large functions such as weddings and balls.

The Terrace Spacing Room is our largest function room. Cardiff function venues rarely have rooms of this size and quality. The Terrace Room directly overlooks our sweeping, manicured lawn and award-winning grounds through the room's vast French doors and windows. This light, airy room will seat 120 for a gala dinner but with a function room of this size, the possibilities are endless!

Marquees can be arranged should you be looking to hold a function for more than 150 people. Our extensive grounds have recently been honoured with the Wales in Bloom 2011 award and are the perfect alternative to a function room. Cardiff is home to some amazing marquee providers who regularly help us host stunning events at the heart of our beautiful gardens.

Mark Beck and Lee Thomas run an experienced catering team which includes a dedicated pastry section, this is a feature you will only find at Miskin. Furthermore Miskin Manor Hotel prides itself on using local produce and local suppliers wherever possible, ensuring that the best quality produce is used.

We offer a wide selection of quality champagnes and wines from around the world supplied by locally-based Fine Wines. Miskin Manor is celebrating another Wales in Bloom award after scooping the prestigious title for the category of Hotels, Guest and Public Houses and Restaurants; the third year in a row the country hotel has clinched the accolade after 2011 and 2012 triumphs.

The family owned hotel fought off stiff competition from other hospitality venues across the whole of Wales, and were judged to have to have the best hanging baskets, flowers, and frontage in the country.

Mrs Leah Rosenberg, who has owned the Miskin Manor with her husband since 1996, who along with her dedicated staff have crafted the gardens over the past 15 years said: ‘‘We all know our gardens are superb, and everyone always comments on how beautiful they are. The staff were overwhelmed when the news broke that we had won first place.’’.

'’We could not believe it when we heard the news. It’s a testimony to all the hard work that the staff have put in over the years. To win it the past two years was truly special, but to regain our title for the third year is just fantastic. We all know our gardens are superb, and everyone always comments on how beautiful they are. I personally pride myself in the gardens, and feel as though we have finally got the credit we deserve for these impeccable grounds. We’re only a stone’s throw from Cardiff City centre; so to have these grounds looking as charming and picturesque as they do, you can see why we are worthy winner of  Wales in Bloom.’’ said Mrs Rosenberg.

Miskin Manor encourage all visitors, old and new, to explore the gardens with events they are holding for the remainder of 2013 such as the Tasmanian Wine Tasting evening on Thursday 26th September and the Wedding Fayre on Sunday 27^th October.
