Words cannot describe how amazing our day was

Firstly a huge thank you for all that you and everyone else did on the weekend of our wedding (Saturday 24th May) Words cannot describe how amazing our day was and how perfect the setting and Hotel was.

From the moment we checked in on Friday for the "pre wedding party" even though you had another wedding on, nothing was too much of a problem to make sure we had an enjoyable night. Father was in his elements, (you would of thought it was his house!!) Food was wonderful in the evening.

I was so calm the morning of the wedding with having breakfast brought up to our room and coffees on flow whilst the hairdresser and videographer were all busy, everything was calm and nothing was too much of a problem for you. I vaguely remember you saying we shall call up for you when we are ready for you downstairs and it was so funny waiting for that phone call, seemed like a life time to wait!!

Mum was so touched when one of your members of staff comforted her as she got emotional on the walk up to the ceremony and my dad was just over whelmed. Craig was, well lets just say speechless after the helicopter, and i would just like to say from me thankyou for allowing us to land in the grounds, it really did make his day!!

The food, staff, ceremony, reception, evening buffet, our bedroom, basically everything was our perfect wedding. So many people are still talking about our day and have all said that it was the best wedding they have ever been too, obviously this is very flattering but the Hotel really did set everything off.

Could you thank the chef as he excelled at pleasing my aunt who has a difficult dairy allergy and she loved her meal, also a friend who was vegan and this was a last minute add on, who also enjoyed her meal and obviously didn't feel alienated!! To Mark and (i think its) Phil for the smooth running, just everybody and you of course for making me feel like the only bride in the world!

We would just like to say a very big thank you and much appreciation for everyones hard work and we will certainly be returning for our anniversaries, maybe even re-new our vows in 10 years!! ( an excuse to have a party again)!! Also i will be telling all my brides most definitely!

Lastly Ben called and asked would we mind our wedding trailer to be used on your web-site......not at all. In fact we see it as an honour. It would be an absolute pleasure to see how it shows off the hotel and grounds to it's most best, and of course we are the stars in it (haha). We had a truly magical day and that was because of the staff and Miskin Manor itself.

Wine Tasting Evening

I would like to thank you for an amazing night when I attended the wine tasting evening.

The whole night was very interesting, was a pleasure to hear about the wine and how it is made and barrelled.

The food was really nice and the staff was more than welcoming and helpful for the whole evening.

Thank you Miskin Manor for an amazing night I will defiantly recommend you to everyone.

Our Wedding Day

Dear Lauren

I just wanted to send you a quick note to tell you how thrilled I was with the way our wedding day went. You were absolutely fantastic on the day (as you have been throughout the planning) as was everyone involved in the whole ceremony, reception and evening party.

Every single member of staff was efficient, professional and organised and we cannot praise them enough. The food was outstanding, so compliments to the chef and all the kitchen staff. I was SO pleased we chose the buffet option and just wish I could have eaten more of it as it was exceptional!! Reception staff we also kind, courteous and nothing was too much trouble for them.

I would also like to say a massive thank you to Phil, who worked quietly and tirelessly throughout the day, and gave so much help to the wedding party that I don't know how we could have managed without him. He is an asset to the hotel and a real gentleman.

A final thank you again to you, Lauren you organised everything perfectly and even with a last minute table plan change (instigated by my Mum!!) you handled everything to perfection and I couldn't have asked for more. I can truly understand now why you are booked for weddings so far in advance!!

Wedding 22nd October 2010

Hi Lauren

I'm sorry it's taken a while for me to write but it's been so busy since we got back from our honeymoon!

We cannot thank you enough for the most incredible day of our lives. We knew that Miskin Manor was practised in weddings but you and your team were fantastic and the day ran perfectly! Thanks for sorting out the boys in the morning too - if the state that the house was in when we went home is anything to go by, they must have been pretty hungover!!

Your help from buttoning on the men's flowers, to laying up the tables was so appreciated and I felt so relaxed getting ready in the beautiful suite which we were allowed to go into early. The grounds looked absolutely stunning in the pictures and the staff during the meal were so accommodating, especially Janet who noticed when some of the tables were running a bit low on wine and ensured they quickly had another bottle with our nod!

We have received such amazing comments on the venue from all our guests - from how well run it is, to the delicious food, happy and friendly staff and gorgeous bedrooms. Many have said it was the best wedding they've been to so thank you so much!

We also really appreciated the use of the other function room for breakfast so we could continue catching up with all our guests the next day.

We will have such amazing memories and cannot recommend Miskin Manor highly enough - you are such a fantastic coordinator and the venue is lucky to have such fabulous staff.
